Description

You design and approve repair solutions for complex technical issues supporting airline operational and maintenance needs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop repair instructions for nacelle component repair solutions.
• Apply technical expertise to support repair design development on metallic and composite structures.
• Communicate directly with airline customers to develop and approve technical solutions rapidly.
• Serve as the key point of contact for internal and external customers on complex technical issues.
• Make quick engineering judgments under pressure while handling multiple repair tasks.

Required Skills

• Expertise in developing aircraft metallic and/or composite repairs (nacelle and exhaust structures preferred).
• 8+ years of working experience in the commercial aircraft industry.
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance, repair, overhaul, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in technical writing and PC skills.
• Experience with casting.
• Familiarity with CAD software.
• Ability to work under pressure in time-constrained environments.

Preferred Skills

• Skills in Catia V5.
• Detailed understanding of nacelle systems.
