You will lead the hardware design and development of downhole electronic instruments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop downhole electronic instruments and SMPS up to 300W.
- Select and cross-verify components including capacitors, resistors, inductors, RTDs, and oscillators.
- Design AC circuits, amplifiers, motors, and high voltage PD panels up to 600V.
- Develop transformer, rectifier, and regulator circuits while calculating SMPS power factors.
- Select and troubleshoot high-temperature electronics such as transducers, RTDs, and J-type or K-type temperature sensors.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of hardware design and development experience.
- Experience with SMPS design up to 300W.
- Knowledge of transformer, rectifier, and regulator circuit design.
- Proficiency in calculating power factor for SMPS.
- Experience with high voltage component selection up to 600V.
- Expertise in high-temperature electronics and sensor identification (J-type, K-type).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Degree in any graduate field.
Preferred Skills
- Circuit design using E-plan, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
- Experience with BOM preparation and instrument documentation.
