Description

You will lead the hardware design and development of downhole electronic instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop downhole electronic instruments and SMPS up to 300W.
  • Select and cross-verify components including capacitors, resistors, inductors, RTDs, and oscillators.
  • Design AC circuits, amplifiers, motors, and high voltage PD panels up to 600V.
  • Develop transformer, rectifier, and regulator circuits while calculating SMPS power factors.
  • Select and troubleshoot high-temperature electronics such as transducers, RTDs, and J-type or K-type temperature sensors.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of hardware design and development experience.
  • Experience with SMPS design up to 300W.
  • Knowledge of transformer, rectifier, and regulator circuit design.
  • Proficiency in calculating power factor for SMPS.
  • Experience with high voltage component selection up to 600V.
  • Expertise in high-temperature electronics and sensor identification (J-type, K-type).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

  • Circuit design using E-plan, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
