Description

You will transform product concepts into functional prototypes and production-ready parts using efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, assembly prints, and Bills of Materials using SolidWorks.
• Develop multiple design iterations and prototypes using computer-aided design tools.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine designs for better manufacturability and create engineering assembly instructions.
• Coordinate with sourcing and supply chain teams to ensure suppliers meet specifications and manage cost updates.
• Conduct usability tests and peer reviews to evaluate design solutions against industry standards.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience designing production products.
• Extensive knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
• Experience in consumer products or automotive sectors.
• Proven ability to review and analyze prototypes and product modifications.
• Strong project development and leadership skills.
• Ability to work across various departments to execute project plans.
• Experience working with various operating systems.
