Description

You will design and develop mechanical products, focusing on plastic and sheet metal enclosures and parts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and test prototypes for new products.
• Create design proposals, concepts, and production criteria based on established briefs.
• Identify required materials, produce final concept drawings, and generate parts lists.
• Coordinate with vendors for prototype and tool manufacturing.
• Travel to production facilities to evaluate processes and plan quality assurance criteria.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience with Solid Edge or Pro-E.
• Knowledge of plastic and sheet metal enclosure design.
• Ability to create working models for demonstration.
• Experience in material selection and production cost estimation.
• Ability to negotiate production processes and manage vendor coordination.
