Description

You will execute detailed mechanical design and drafting for test stations, including design changes, vibration fixtures, and thermal testing setups.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, CCAs, harnesses, and cables for mechanical and electromechanical components.
• Design vibration fixtures for units under test and specialized fixtures for thermal testing.
• Coordinate with documentation, program product design, and test engineering packaging groups.
• Deliver design review presentations to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical design.
• 5+ years of experience using Creo for 3D modeling.
• At least 1 year of experience using Windchill.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling and 3D modeling.
• Practical implementation of geometric tolerancing.
• Understanding of precision machining.
• Knowledge of optical physics.
