Lead complex PCB layout projects from kickoff through tape-out, ensuring schedule alignment and technical excellence.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple complex PCB layout projects simultaneously, driving key milestones and maintaining accurate design trackers.
• Develop and maintain PCB design tool templates, engineering standards, and constraint definitions in Cadence Allegro.
• Execute complex PCB layouts for high-density, compact electronic products, applying miniaturization strategies and signal integrity considerations.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to resolve design risks and validate DFM requirements.
• Support the transition of designs from engineering development into manufacturing by working with external suppliers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in complex PCB design and layout engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience using Cadence Allegro PCB Design tools (Version 23.1 or newer).
• Strong understanding of PCB design principles, layout methodologies, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience designing high-density, complex electronic assemblies with challenging form-factor requirements.
• Knowledge of mechanical considerations in electronics product design and power distribution networks (PDN).
• Ability to identify design risks and develop effective technical solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with rigid-flex and flexible PCB technologies for wearable or mobile devices.
• Experience collaborating directly with PCB fabrication and assembly suppliers.
