Description

You will own the conceptual and detailed design of aero engine external components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform stack-up analysis and design hand calculations.
• Create and review drafting and CAD models of aero engine components.
• Finalize designs following standard work and represent the team in CCB reviews.
• Interact with customers to provide technical status updates and solve critical problems.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA.

Required Skills

• Sound knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals and engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (Siemens NX, CATIA V5, or Creo) for external module components.
• Proficiency in PLM systems (Teamcenter, Enovia).
• Experience designing and drafting for aero engine projects or manufacturers.
• Capability to understand and interpret structural analysis results.
• Ensure design compliance with aero engine requirements, including GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
• Rich experience working on aero engine external parts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Siemens NX or CATIA V5.
• Experience with Teamcenter or Enovia PLM systems.
