Description

You will own automotive seating design projects, delivering complete seat designs using UGNX. Your work will span interiors, exteriors, and acoustic components, ensuring alignment with IATF16949 and ISO9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete seat design and detailed engineering using UGNX.
• Apply CAD methodology, best practices, and tooling knowledge to design deliverables.
• Perform tolerance stack analysis and DFMEA to mitigate design risks.
• Utilize CAE tools and program-specific methods to validate design integrity.
• Resolve engineering issues using 8D and QRCI problem-solving frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years as a Design Engineer in automotive seating.
• Expert proficiency in UGNX CAD software.
• Deep understanding of automotive interiors, exteriors, and acoustic design.
• Practical experience with Tolerance Stack analysis and DFMEA.
• Familiarity with CAE tools and program-specific design methods.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO9001 quality standards.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of customer languages is a plus.
• Exposure to 8D and QRCI methodologies.
