Description

You will own the design, testing, and validation of axle systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues throughout the development cycle.
• Conduct feasibility studies, trade-off analyses, and design optimization.
• Prepare technical documentation including design reports, FMEA, Bill of Materials, and Change Notices.
• Manage BOM creation and maintenance within PLM/Windchill.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement design for manufacturability.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in axle design and development within the automotive industry.
• Hands-on experience with Axle Design and prototype testing.
• Proficiency in PLM/Windchill and SAP/PLM systems.
• Deep understanding of product and material life cycles, design processes, and change management.
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bachelor of Engineering or Master’s in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of E-Axle components.
