Description

You will lead front-end engineering and detailed design for capital projects in the chemical, gas, and utility sectors.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver front-end engineering and detail design outputs for capital projects.
• Study and assess existing systems to finalize feasibility and conceptual engineering.
• Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), project reviews, and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Review and approve process safety studies and coordinate with engineering leads.
• Prepare and review project execution plans, including contractor job walks and equipment start-ups.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in process design engineering, preferably within the chemical industry.
• Deep understanding of ASME and ASTM standards, including welding and pressure vessel codes.
• Proficiency in creating and reviewing PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, and instrument datasheets.
• Experience with CAD and PLM tools, specifically Solid Edge and Teamcenter.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
