Description

Lead the design and development of automotive plastic parts from concept to manufacturing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Generate 3D concepts, surface models, and manufacturing drawings using Creo.
• Develop and optimize manufacturable designs for new product development.
• Coordinate with styling, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure design intent.
• Manage cost reduction activities and monitor project quality and schedules.
• Support PV and DV builds and handle technical queries with offshore teams.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in automotive plastic parts design.
• Proficiency in Creo CAD modeling and Surface Modeling (minimum E2 competency).
• Experience with Windchill PLM.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing drawing standards.
• Experience in New Product Development (NPD) tools and techniques.
• Background in two-wheeler design.
• Ability to work independently on concept generation and design optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with powertrain components.
