Description

You own the design direction and delivery for 2D wayfinding and signage systems, from concept through to implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client briefs and challenge assumptions to develop strong creative concepts.
• Lead multiple small and medium projects, overseeing all 2D design outputs.
• Conduct client workshops, presentations, and pitches while building senior-level relationships.
• Manage project timelines, workflows, and studio operations to ensure efficient delivery.
• Mentor design team members, fostering innovation and continuous process improvement.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of experience in 2D design, wayfinding, signage, or information design.
• Masters degree in Design, Product Design, or Architecture.
• Strong expertise in creating design intent packages with deep material and production knowledge.
• Proficiency in environmental graphics and print/fabrication techniques.
• Ability to conduct research, audits, and competitor analysis.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for leading client engagements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing design processes and team workflows.
• Knowledge of industry trends and tools to enhance design solutions.
