Description

Lead design development and coordination for large-scale industrialization projects within a Global Industrialization Development Engineering Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project design development from inception through detail design, construction, and turnover to ensure delivery within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues by balancing design intent with cost and project goals.
  • Direct internal team members and external contractors, vendors, and local government agencies to drive project plans and design strategies.
  • Perform QAQC reviews on interim deliverable packages (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC) to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate design standards and technical specifications across all disciplines.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in owner capital development projects within battery manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, medical, or scientific laboratories.
  • Proven experience in design management and construction administration for Type I and II Construction (ground-up, new construction, or tenant improvement).
  • Extensive background in design development for large-scale ultra-clean manufacturing environments per ISO Classes.
  • Working knowledge of ICB, ADA, NFPA, NEC, TecSa, and CSI specification coordination (Dev 1-33).
  • Ability to interpret technical reports, Code Analysis, geotechnical, environmental, and multi-discipline drawings.
  • Experience managing contract negotiations and compliance with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Navisworks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, and Azure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
