Description

Lead end-to-end design for industrial projects, managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical, piping, civil, structural, HVAC, and electrical design development.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including instrumentation and procurement.
• Review and approve design specifications, drawings, calculations, and engineering deliverables.
• Manage vendor relationships and EPC contractors to ensure execution quality.
• Conduct design reviews, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments for safe plant operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in industrial plant design.
• Expertise in mechanical, piping, civil, structural, HVAC, and electrical disciplines.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PDMS, SmartPlant 3D, and Revit.
• In-depth knowledge of rotating/static equipment, process piping, and plant layout.
• Knowledge of industry standards: ASME, API, NFPA, ANSI, ISO, and OSHA.
• Experience managing vendor drawings, technical specifications, and material submittals.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with construction.
• Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and site-based troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning.
