Description

You will support engineering optimization initiatives for electrical equipment products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design optimization projects to improve engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret design and manufacturing data to drive project prioritization.
• Perform quality assurance reviews for new designs and Bills of Material (BOM).
• Develop and support cost-benefit analysis for design and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to resolve design issues and support New Product Development (NPD).

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Mechanical Design or Design Optimization.
• Strong experience with Creo (3+ years).
• Experience with Windchill PLM.
• Hands-on experience with Sheet metal design and Plastic component design.
• Experience working with Switchgear, Switchboards, or Enclosures (2–3+ years preferred).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience in New Product Development (NPD) environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to engineering or manufacturing process optimization.
• Experience in cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.

Key Skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
