Description

Build and maintain reusable React components for a scalable design system, ensuring high accessibility and performance standards.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality, reusable React components that meet WCAG accessibility standards.
• Develop and manage design tokens to ensure consistent UI implementation across platforms.
• Partner with product designers to translate UI/UX patterns into production-ready components.
• Create and maintain clear documentation, guidelines, and usage examples for the engineering community.
• Support the design system roadmap through feature development, bug fixes, and developer experience improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development practices.
• Proven experience building reusable components and scalable front-end architectures.
• Solid understanding of web accessibility (WCAG standards, ARIA, semantic HTML).
• Experience with component testing, including unit, visual, and accessibility testing.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years working on design systems, component libraries, or pattern libraries.
• Experience with design tokens, theming systems, Storybook, or Chromatic.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows for front-end packages.
