Description

Own hardware system integration, component balancing, and interface management for EDM gearbox subsystems. Drive design reviews, DFMEA processes, and cross-functional coordination to ensure prototype readiness.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage system interactions and interfaces for EDM gearbox components and subsystems.
• Own hardware system integration and balancing across all units.
• Schedule hardware design reviews and evaluate design proposals.
• Lead Driveline System and Interface DFMEA and DRBFM reviews.
• Coordinate with Virtual Analysis/CAE teams to ensure Virtual DVPs complete before prototype orders.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of engineering experience.
• General knowledge of EDM Gearboxes, Drivelines, Axles, or Transmission Systems.
• Experience creating Functional Block Diagrams.
• Proficiency in DFMEA methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of engineering experience in driveline, axle, transmission, or electrified powertrain systems.
• Experience with Gearbox, Driveline, or Axle Design Release Responsibility.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
