You will design and build C# desktop applications that integrate hardware, biology, and AI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop C# desktop applications for laboratory instruments.
• Expand system capabilities by exploring and integrating new hardware.
• Collaborate with scientists to improve instrument intelligence and usability.
• Improve the architecture of complex, existing systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C# and building WPF UI.
• Experience with GUI design and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with hardware interfacing and instrumentation.
• Expertise in writing asynchronous or multi-threaded applications.
• Experience with object-oriented design and principles.
• Experience with image processing algorithms or frameworks like OpenCV and signal processing.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, code review, agile, and unit testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
• Experience with C++.

Computer Science degree or equivalent professional experience.
