You will manage the full lifecycle of desktop hardware, software, and connectivity for field users in Channahon, IL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity incidents, including break-fix services for laptops and desktops.
• Execute IMAC tasks and provide deskside support, including VIP support and site-specific IT point-of-contact duties.
• Maintain desktop configurations through patch updates, hardware replacements, and appropriate image installation.
• Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software to ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Manage spare and buffer stock in alignment with ITIL processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering or end-user computing.
• Proficiency with Windows 7 OS.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar service management tools.
• Expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request management.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent in electronics; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Mac devices and tablets.
• Knowledge of Active Directory (AD), smart hands, and feet support.
• Understanding of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.
