Description

Provide end-to-end hardware, software, and connectivity support for desktop devices throughout their lifecycle. Manage incidents from intake to resolution, including IMAC and desk-side services.

Responsibilities

• Execute break-fix services for laptops and desktops, including hardware replacements and patch updates.
• Deploy and maintain approved desktop images, ensuring security and anti-virus compliance.
• Analyze Service Desk calls to identify automation opportunities or user training needs.
• Provide VIP support and act as the local site point of contact for IT issues.
• Manage spare and buffer stock inventory effectively.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering or EUC support.
• Proficiency with Windows 7 OS.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar service management tools.
• Expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of VPN and Lync.
• Understanding of ITIL processes: Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request management.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent technical school diploma in electronics.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and smart hands/feet support.
• Experience supporting MAC devices, tablets, and mobile devices.
