Description

Provide onsite technical support and infrastructure maintenance in Fegersheim.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PC, laptop, and peripheral hardware including printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Build, configure, and deploy "Gold" images and manage hardware component replacements.
• Execute data center "smart hands" tasks, including rack and stack, cabling, and replacing defective modules.
• Manage backup routines through daily tape changes and library import/export tasks.
• Resolve incidents and service requests within SLA using a call logging system.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in desktop support or similar technical roles.
• Proficiency with Windows 7/10 and Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM.
• Experience managing mobile devices, specifically iPhones and Androids.
• Proven ability to perform hardware repairs and component replacements.
• Experience with data center equipment installation and cable management.
• Proficiency using a Call Logging system to track incidents.
• Strong communication skills in both English and the local language.

Preferred Skills

• Support experience with MAC hardware.
• CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+) or Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCITP, MCSE).
