Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of desktop hardware, software, and connectivity for field users in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Resolve desktop device incidents covering hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Execute installs, moves, adds, changes, and decommissions (IMAC) for PCs, laptops, and engineering workstations.
• Maintain desktop configurations via patch updates, hardware replacements, and image installations.
• Monitor security profiles and anti-virus compliance across all desktop devices.
• Analyze service desk data to identify automation opportunities and user training requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering or end-user computing.
• Proficiency with Windows 7 OS and MAC operating systems.
• Hands-on expertise with EUC tools and remote support tools.
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar service management tools.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request management.
• Experience managing spare and buffer stock.
• Ability to perform hardware break-fix services for laptops and desktops.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Active Directory (AD).
• Experience with VPN, Lync, and mobile device support.
