Description

You will provide IT support for engineering lab environments containing a mix of current and legacy technology.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support software and hardware across Windows, Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Solaris systems.
• Maintain systems and manage hardware and software upgrades.
• Conduct technical implementation reviews with customers and peers.
• Document technical knowledge and identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Communicate system outages and maintenance activities to customers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in medium or large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with client computer hardware support.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems (XP or newer).
• Experience managing Windows, Red Hat, Ubuntu, or Solaris systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to support small, local infrastructure environments.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional work with peer groups.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux operating systems.
