Description

You will provide first-line technical support for desktop computers, applications, and peripherals to ensure all requirements are met within service targets.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including reimaging computers and hard drives.
• Diagnose and repair hardware issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, PDAs, and BlackBerrys.
• Manage service requests by categorizing and prioritizing tickets within a customer ticketing system.
• Perform infrastructure administration, including backing up and restoring settings and system administration.
• Maintain asset inventory and coordinate with procurement for hardware and software purchases.
• Train and orient staff on the use of various hardware and software systems.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in desktop support or a related technical field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and business productivity applications.
• Experience managing MS Active Directory users, groups, and policies.
• Technical knowledge of printers, handhelds, smartphones, and LAN cable drops.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Understanding of Exchange functional accounts and Outlook calendar tools.
• Foundational knowledge of networking technologies and CCNA concepts.
• Ability to provide on-site support from 08:00 – 17:00 and participate in out-of-hours on-call rotations.
• Bachelor's degree.
