Description

You manage, configure, and maintain laboratory desktop and benchtop computing environments, ensuring continuous operation for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on End User Computing support for Windows-based desktops, laptops, and laboratory instruments.
• Build, deploy, and maintain desktop imaging and operating systems using SCCM.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and network connectivity issues impacting lab operations.
• Manage software installations, upgrades, patches, and antivirus compliance.
• Administer user accounts via Active Directory and follow ITIL processes for incident and change management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in desktop support and End User Computing services.
• Hands-on expertise with Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 10.
• Proficiency with Active Directory and SCCM for deployment and management.
• Experience supporting laboratory instrument computers and specialized lab software.
• Strong understanding of network troubleshooting and connectivity concepts.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and endpoint protection tools.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITIL-based support processes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare environments.
• Strong customer-service and stakeholder management skills.
