Description

Manage enterprise desktop support and data center operations in a healthcare or life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center facility infrastructure, including power, cooling, security, and fire protection systems.
• Execute server and network system installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Perform incident response, root cause analysis, reporting, and CAPA resolutions.
• Maintain local IT asset inventory, documentation, and management processes.
• Oversee onsite teams and vendors to ensure IT space orderliness and process adherence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of data center operational or technical experience.
• Working knowledge of network environments, topologies, and inter-connectivity.
• Proficiency with task ticketing system management and fulfillment.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a user.
• Ability to work independently on the analysis, design, and implementation of IT solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT, networking, and data center infrastructure terminology.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• MCSE, ASE, or equivalent data center/network technical certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Visio or CAD-type applications for rack diagrams.
• Knowledge of Health Care or Life Sciences domain requirements.
