Description

You will provide onsite technical assistance and hardware/software configuration for end users in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and associated software.
• Perform break-fix tasks, desk-side support, data migrations, and hardware refreshes.
• Manage the ticket queue to ensure resolution within defined service level agreements.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware warranty repairs and replacements.
• Provide hands-on support for network data and voice devices, including IP and analog phone installation.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a Field Services Technician.
• Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and MS Office.
• Experience troubleshooting VPN, local and network printing, and mobile devices.
• Hands-on experience with data migration and software installation.
• Ability to perform cable testing and punching for patch panels, IDF, or MDF.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent.
• Capability to lift up to 30 lbs at waist level.
• Strong verbal communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to travel to remote sites or clusters.
