Description

You will provide Level 1 technical support and maintain computer hardware and software systems in Latham, NY.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Configure PCs for users and provide direct technical support.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when service times or parts availability impact resolution.
• Coordinate with multiple clients and vendors to resolve technical requests.
• Process accurate information to ensure compliance with vendor warranty requirements and client data policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical support roles.
• Proficiency in computer repair and hardware maintenance.
• Experience with software installation and configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for computer systems and peripherals.
• Working knowledge of various operating systems.
• Ability to manage technical documentation and vendor warranty processes.
