Description

Manage desktop imaging, machine building, and on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and image workstations, laptops, and servers, ensuring all hardware and software are in good working condition.
• Act as the on-site escalation point for Tier-1 support, performing remote and in-person troubleshooting via phone, email, or direct contact.
• Install and support networked devices including printers, scanners, phones, and fax machines.
• Manage IT asset inventory, ensuring all equipment and software are documented for audit and security purposes.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving operating systems, VPNs, Active Directory, Exchange, and Citrix.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in IT Desktop Support and machine building.
• Proven experience with PC imaging, data migration, and hardware upgrades.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, and VPNs.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Exchange, Citrix, and backup software.
• Technical proficiency with Cisco hardware/software and HP hardware platforms.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and communication protocols.
• Ability to travel off-site within a 50-mile radius to provide support.
• A+, Microsoft MCP/MCSE, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA certification.

Preferred Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for end-user training and documentation.
