Description

You will provide onsite technical support, hardware maintenance, and network connectivity troubleshooting for local office and plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for PCs, laptops, printers, RF guns, and mobile compute devices.
  • Build, configure, and image computers and laptops with approved software and standard configurations.
  • Manage end-to-end inventory, including assets, accessories, and printer supplies, while coordinating vendor repairs.
  • Perform pre-shift health checks on MDF rooms, UPS systems, WAPs, and operational hardware.
  • Document processes, procedures, and follow up on Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in deskside, onsite, or local IT engineering.
  • Experience with Microsoft Operating System installation and deployment.
  • Proficiency setting up and troubleshooting Outlook, Wi-Fi, VPN, and backup applications.
  • Hands-on experience repairing and replacing computer, laptop, and printer hardware.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience using ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Remedy.
  • Ability to manage RF gun connectivity, software updates, and certificate renewals.
  • Experience with network connectivity diagnostics and hardware installation.

Preferred Skills

  • Capability to provide frontline customer support and escalate issues to management or network teams.
  • Level 1 and triage support for functional systems like WMS/Dematic and manage queue workflows.
