You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair desktop systems, hardware, software, and peripherals in a large corporate multi-site environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and document incident tickets while keeping users, management, and the Help Desk apprised of all activities.
Maintain desktop hardware and peripheral inventory with precise asset record management.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for desktop platforms, Windows technologies, Directory Services, and mobility operations including iOS, Android, and Mobile Iron.
Execute core build engineering using WDSS, SCCM, and software/driver integration.
Collaborate with the Network Team to manage user account rights, security, and system groups.
Provide consultation for IS projects, including hardware/software testing and configuration optimization.
Participate in after-hours on-call support and weekend or holiday coverage.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in a large corporate multi-site environment.
3+ years developing and deploying unattended operating system installations for workstations, desktops, and laptops.
3+ years of scripting experience using PowerShell, VB Script, or WinBatch.
3+ years troubleshooting and enhancing desktop security and configuration management via Group Policy Objects (GPO).
In-depth understanding of hardware-independent imaging capabilities.
Experience with Android platforms and mobility management consoles.
Ability to optimize hardware configurations such as BIOS and Hyperthreading.
Associates degree in computer science or a related field.
