Description

You provide desktop support via phone, remote tools, and onsite assistance.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve computer-related issues reported by staff statewide.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware, including physical component replacement and system upgrades.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot software and hardware while addressing version compatibility issues.
• Analyze system performance and take corrective actions to restore acceptable levels.
• Maintain installation documentation and communicate ticket statuses to users.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting desktops in an enterprise environment.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems (Windows 9x/2000/XP/NT/Vista/7).
• Basic networking knowledge, specifically TCP/IP and UDP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team.
