Description

You will support a complex engineering lab environment, managing a mix of legacy and modern technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support Windows environments (XP, 7, 10, 11) including legacy configurations.
• Manage Active Directory accounts and perform remote system administration.
• Troubleshoot network configurations (DHCP, static IPs, multi-NIC setups).
• Maintain lab inventory, perform system reconciliation, and support VDI initiatives.
• Support domain migration projects and infrastructure upgrades.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT support.
• Windows OS support, including legacy systems like XP.
• Active Directory administration and Remote Desktop support.
• Networking fundamentals: IP addressing, DHCP, and NIC configurations.
• Hardware troubleshooting (drivers, PCI cards, serial adapters).
• Virtualization exposure (VMware, VDI).
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or similar).

Preferred Skills

• VMware Workstation / vSphere.
• SCCM / MECM.
• Application virtualization.
