Description

You will build and tune detection content for the Securonix platform to identify suspicious activity and reduce false positives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logs from security technologies to identify patterns, anomalies, and suspicious behavior.
• Create, update, and tune detection content based on team guidance and requirements.
• Support the development of policies, threat models, dashboards, and reports within the Securonix platform.
• Perform quality assurance testing of detection content before production release to ensure accuracy.
• Validate detection logic using sample logs, test cases, and documented attack scenarios.

Required Skills

• Experience with Python, SQL, JSON, and Regex for data parsing and scripting.
• Knowledge of SIEM platforms and log analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat detection methodologies.
• Understanding of malware, phishing, lateral movement, privilege escalation, and data exfiltration concepts.
• Basic coding or scripting knowledge with strong analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Early-career candidates or those with up to one year of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Securonix platform and log management tools.
• Hands-on practice through academic projects, internships, labs, or certifications.
