Description

You will design and optimize API proxy configurations and authentication mechanisms to support end-to-end integrations on GCP and Kubernetes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimize API proxy configurations to ensure compliance with organizational best practices.
• Design and implement reusable configurations, including shared flows, flow hooks, and authentication mechanisms.
• Conduct technical reviews of API designs and Apigee implementations, providing guidance on feasibility and effort.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve risks and implement network improvements.
• Analyze requirements and communicate dependencies, bottlenecks, and escalation paths to cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of Apigee Hybrid Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of enterprise network architecture, including firewalls, load balancers, and identity providers.
• Experience with client/server certificates, TLS configurations, and IP whitelisting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and with external vendors.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with operating systems and enterprise security protocols.
