Description

You will design and develop enhancements for software applications using DataStage ETL.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for new and existing data reporting requirements and resolve data issues.
• Perform root cause analysis to address and resolve existing data-related issues.
• Analyze, modify, and improve DataStage ETL and Unix jobs.
• Automate manual tasks and improve existing processes to provide application stability.
• Participate in agile user story analysis, prototyping, unit testing, and deployment.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of experience with DataStage ETL (version 11.7 preferred).
• Proficiency in UNIX and shell scripting.
• Experience with Control-M.
• Strong SQL skills working with Db2, Sybase, or Oracle.
• Experience using Jira and Bitbucket.
• Understanding of the full system development life cycle (SDLC) within agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent working experience.

Preferred Skills

• Working experience in Java or SAS.
• Experience working within the mortgage industry.
