Description

Design, develop, test, and support the Hitachi Service Suite Application and related systems for public utility operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Service Suite Field Worker mobile application for contractor use.
• Develop functional specifications, technical designs, and data mapping for new builds and defect resolution.
• Lead systems design and determine appropriate database architecture for applications.
• Execute testing, develop test scenarios, and support QA analysts with requirement interpretation and data mining.
• Install, configure, and implement software releases, patches, and fixes while maintaining application configuration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems development processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, JSP, C, or C++.
• Strong SQL skills for query enhancement and tuning.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Technical knowledge of Hitachi Energy Service Suite 9.8 or similar.
• Hands-on experience with GPS, Mobile GIS, and SCCM.
• Experience using HP ALM for defect tracking and testing.
• Familiarity with Clarity and Open Workbench.
• Experience managing mobile devices including Apple and Windows Panasonic Toughbooks.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with ABB Service Suite implementations.
• Linux expertise.
