Description

You will develop and maintain microservices that provide security ratings for open source components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement services to collect and aggregate data from multiple sources for calculating component security ratings.
• Integrate security services seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure high availability of services and troubleshoot or mitigate production issues.
• Resolve complex business problems within the open source software ecosystem.
• Share technical knowledge regarding open source security through internal collaboration and training.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong competency in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Web Services and APIs.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery and development processes in agile environments.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and event-driven architectures.
• Exposure to public clouds including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
