Description

Lead the design, planning, and implementation of complex e-commerce solutions across B2B, B2C, and extended site models. Own the technical execution within the WebSphere Commerce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end solutions within the WebSphere Commerce ecosystem.
• Lead technical planning exercises and facilitate workshops to translate business requirements into system designs.
• Create blueprint designs for complex e-commerce landscapes and define repeatable architectural patterns.
• Manage work tracks, anticipate module-level risks, and communicate technical solutions to diverse audiences.
• Oversee the development and customization of WebSphere Commerce subsystems including Catalog, Order, Member, and Payment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on WebSphere Commerce (versions 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x).
• Strong expertise in Java and J2EE.
• Hands-on experience with the BOD framework and SOLR customization.
• Proven track record of executing at least two WCS end-to-end implementations.
• Experience integrating and developing with SOAP and REST services.
• Deep understanding of WebSphere Commerce application architecture and DynaCache.
• Proficiency in database programming.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to manage complex business models including B2B and B2C.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with migration from FEP7 to FEP8.
• Experience using Adobe Target.
