Maintain and evolve legacy systems while implementing new technical solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, construct, test, and implement business and technical IT solutions using standard software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Build, test, and deploy portions of business and technical solutions following development best practices.
• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions for core, COTs, and niche technologies.
• Resolve business and technical problems using relevant diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with customers to define business requirements, technical contexts, and project deliverables.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of COBOL development experience, primarily in Linux environments.
• Proficiency in COBOL programming and C programming.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle.
• Experience with Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of SOAP or RESTful APIs.
• Experience with XML and JSON data interchange formats.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud technologies.
