Description

You will develop low-level infrastructure components for a cloud edge platform focused on networking, virtualization, and storage.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write high-performance code in C and Rust for core infrastructure solutions.
• Develop custom network packet processors using the DPDK/rte_flow framework.
• Implement virtualization technology using rust-vmm and build a custom Rust-based Linux init system.
• Integrate components to build a homogeneous cloud infrastructure based on Kubernetes.
• Contribute to open-source sub-projects within the IronCore infrastructure stack.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional coding experience in C or Rust.
• In-depth knowledge of the Linux Kernel and Linux containers.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including IP, TCP, UDP, and TLS.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Ability to work within a Kubernetes-based lifecycle management framework.

Preferred Skills

• Previous contributions to open-source projects.
