Description

You own the quality of software products throughout the development lifecycle, serving as a technical subject matter expert.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automation solutions and manual tests.
• Own the automation architecture for functional and performance testing, including framework and infrastructure setup.
• Perform independent assurance across all lifecycle phases and participate in root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all testing processes comply with FINRA technology policies, security controls, and standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development in test.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps test tools.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with Cloud environments.
• Ability to design and implement automation frameworks and infrastructure.
• Experience performing root cause analysis for production defects.
• Proven ability to manage testing within a regulated environment.

Preferred Skills

• Deep business domain expertise related to assigned projects.
