Description

Migrate legacy Matillion ETL pipelines to scalable GCP-native architectures using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reverse-engineer existing Matillion ETL pipelines to extract business logic, data flows, and dependencies.
• Redesign and migrate data pipelines into scalable GCP-native architectures using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and standards for modern ELT processes.
• Support end-to-end migration, including testing, validation, performance tuning, and deployment of data pipelines.
• Document source-to-target mappings, design specifications, and architecture for migration and future scalability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of ETL/ELT development experience with strong expertise in Matillion.
• Hands-on experience with GCP tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataflow/Dataproc, and Cloud Functions.
• Strong ability to reverse-engineer legacy ETL pipelines and design scalable, cloud-native data architectures.
• Excellent SQL and data modeling skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).
