Description

You will serve as a key software developer for the implementation and support of client applications within the Integrated Eligibility Project.

Responsibilities

• Translate software requirements into workable programming code and maintain business applications.
• Assist in identifying business requirements and creating functional and technical designs.
• Encode programs and perform unit testing.
• Support user acceptance testing processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Java and J2EE programming.
• EJB, Servlet, and JSP/jQuery.
• SQL, Oracle, and JDBC query development.
• Logging mechanisms.
• WebSphere or WebLogic application servers.
• Java Transaction Management and Thread Management.
• Developing asynchronous Java processes.
• Eclipse-based development environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Spring, Hibernate, JPA, and EJB3.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Swing.
• SOAP, XML, and UML.
• Oracle/DB2 and Rational Tools.
• Test-Driven Development and SDLC lifecycle experience.
• Versioning tools, Ant Scripts, and Configuration Management.
