Description

You will own Oracle database administration and deep-level performance tuning.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies.
• Optimize indexes, execution plans, and query structures to improve system throughput.
• Diagnose CPU, memory, and I/O-related issues through root-cause investigations.
• Monitor database health, statistics, and system metrics to prevent degradation.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to guide performance improvements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle database administration and performance tuning.
• Expertise with Oracle diagnostic tools including AWR, ADDM, and ASH.
• Deep knowledge of indexing strategies and execution plans.
• Advanced SQL/PL-SQL tuning capabilities.
• Proven ability to diagnose system-level performance issues.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
