Description

Design, build, and administer middleware APIs, microservices, and SOA implementations using the WSO2 suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume web services using REST, JSON, SOAP, and XML protocols.
• Implement API facades and proxies using WSO2 API Manager.
• Secure APIs through OAuth, SAML, and Open ID Connect protocols.
• Troubleshoot WSO2 ESB, DSS, and BPS components to resolve production incidents and identify root causes.
• Perform code reviews, technical documentation, and system testing using Postman or SoapUI.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in SOA, middleware APIs, and Java-based microservices.
• Hands-on experience with WSO2 ESB, including proxy services, connectors, error handling, and custom mediators.
• Proficiency with WSO2 API Manager, API Manager Analytics, Enterprise Integrator 7.x, and Identity Server.
• Working knowledge of API modeling languages including YAML, Swagger, and RAML.
• Experience with High Availability implementations, clustering, load balancing, and failover management.
• Understanding of security, logging, auditing, and TCP/IP networks.
• Exposure to GIT, DevOps, and CI/CD tools such as AWS CodeBuild.
• Exposure to AWS Cloud environments, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of EAI, SOA, and API best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DSS and BPS within the WSO2 ecosystem.
