Description

You will modernize legacy Java/Eclipse applications by migrating user interfaces to Angular and WebSphere deployments to JBOSS EAP.

Responsibilities

• Replace existing Java/Eclipse-based user interfaces with a modern Angular TypeScript framework.
• Convert SOAP-based web service calls to RESTful service calls.
• Migrate deployment environments from WebSphere to JBOSS EAP.
• Perform front-end application development and system analysis for web-based Java applications in an SOA platform.
• Provide application support, including defect repair, maintenance, and production operations support.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional programming experience.
• Angular and TypeScript for front-end development.
• Experience with React.
• Proficiency in .NET.
• Knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with Java/Eclipse environments.
• Knowledge of SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing and maintaining data and process models.
• Ability to perform performance tuning and troubleshooting.
