You will focus on system modeling, simulation, and verification of vehicle control system functions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system and subsystem models for all products within the business line.
- Define test plans and analyses to increase model fidelity.
- Verify and validate vehicle control system functions using SIL and HIL simulation.
- Perform software development and troubleshooting as required.
- Support process definition for model development and integration.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in control system logic and software development.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Expertise in system modeling using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Strong understanding of the V-model software development lifecycle and 7-Layer OSI model.
- Working knowledge of CAN bus, Fieldbus, ISObus, and other control protocols.
- Experience with vehicle electrical system topologies.
- Experience with control safety platforms and on-board vehicle testing.
- Experience programming and validating Danfoss or Parker IQAN controllers.
- Ability to develop APIs for vehicle control systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CoDeSys modeling environment.
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems related to mobile equipment.
