Description

You will focus on system modeling, simulation, and verification of vehicle control system functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain system and subsystem models for all products within the business line.
  • Define test plans and analyses to increase model fidelity.
  • Verify and validate vehicle control system functions using SIL and HIL simulation.
  • Perform software development and troubleshooting as required.
  • Support process definition for model development and integration.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in control system logic and software development.
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
  • Expertise in system modeling using MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Strong understanding of the V-model software development lifecycle and 7-Layer OSI model.
  • Working knowledge of CAN bus, Fieldbus, ISObus, and other control protocols.
  • Experience with vehicle electrical system topologies.
  • Experience with control safety platforms and on-board vehicle testing.
  • Experience programming and validating Danfoss or Parker IQAN controllers.
  • Ability to develop APIs for vehicle control systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CoDeSys modeling environment.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems related to mobile equipment.
