Description

You will manage PLC data requirements and code implementations for high-speed automation equipment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define PLC data requirements specifically for OEE.
• Review vendor PLC code from Rockwell and Siemens to perform gap analyses on data requirements.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues between PLC tags and Kepware.
• Design and implement code changes to generate missing data from PLCs.
• Manage the implementation of code changes, including writing change requests and impact assessments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in PLC programming, specifically with Rockwell systems.
• Strong experience implementing coding changes in industrial environments.
• Expertise in PLC data extraction and capabilities.
• Experience with Kepware and OSI Pi systems integration.
• Proficiency in generating and executing software test plans.
• Hands-on experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, and validation of high-speed automation equipment.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience working with OEM vendor controls engineers to develop and test code.
