Description
You will perform manual assembly of complex fiber, membrane, and polycarbonate components within a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble fiber, filtration products, and sub-assemblies following detailed work instructions and blueprints.
- Perform fiber bundling, filter potting, filter welding, and fitting on assembly units.
- Execute routine device testing and verify form, fit, and function according to the Bill of Materials.
- Operate small hand tools, power tools, and automated production equipment.
- Maintain cleanroom standards by cleaning workbenches and complying with Good Documentation Practices on all quality documents.
- Identify quality problems and follow established reporting procedures.
Required Skills
- Experience in manufacturing or medical device assembly.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and standard work instructions.
- Manual dexterity to handle, finger, and feel small components.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Visual acuity including peripheral vision and depth perception.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
